Tarboush Morocco Tours

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you use tarboushmoroccotours.com, why we collect it, who else receives it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers only this website and our tour bookings.

Who Is Responsible for Your Data

This website is operated by Tarboush Morocco Tours, based in Marrakech, Morocco. We are responsible for the information described on this page.

For anything concerning your personal data, contact contact@tarboushmoroccotours.com or call +212 661 190 826.

What We Collect

When you send an enquiry. Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, intended travel dates, group size, budget range, the tour you are interested in, and your message. All of these except your message are needed to answer you with a realistic proposal.

When you book. To confirm a tour we additionally need the full name of each traveller as it appears on their passport, and any dietary, accessibility or medical information you choose to share so we can run the trip safely. Health information is sensitive; we ask for it only when it is relevant to your safety, we use it for nothing else, and you may decline to provide it.

Automatically, when you browse. Our host records your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, as part of running and securing the site. If you accept analytics cookies, we also record which pages you read and how you move around them — see the section below.

We do not take card payments on this website, so we never see or store your card details.

Why We Are Allowed to Use It

  • To answer your enquiry and run your tour — because it is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep the site running and secure — because we have a legitimate interest in a working, non-abused website.
  • To measure how the site is used — only with your consent, given through the cookie banner, and withdrawable at any time.
  • To keep accounting and tax records — because Moroccan law requires it.

Who Else Receives It

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do rely on the following providers, all based in the United States, which means your information is transferred outside Morocco and outside the European Economic Area:

To deliver your tour we also pass the names of travellers, and dates, to the hotels, riads, desert camps, drivers and local guides who serve you. We share only what each of them needs.

We may also disclose information where a law, a court or a public authority requires it.

Session Recording

If you accept analytics cookies, Microsoft Clarity records your visit: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you open. We use these recordings to find parts of the site that confuse people. Clarity masks text entered into form fields by default, and we do not use it to identify you. You can refuse this, or change your mind later, from the cookie policy.

How Long We Keep It

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: 24 months, then deleted.
  • Booking and travel records: 10 years after the tour, as required for Moroccan accounting and tax purposes.
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Session recordings: up to 30 days.
  • Server security logs: up to 12 months.

Your Rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to contact@tarboushmoroccotours.com and we will reply within 30 days. We will never charge you for this, and we will never treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to receive your data in a portable format, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, to restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what we did before you withdrew it. You may complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. You may also designate an authorised agent to act for you. Refusing analytics cookies in our banner is sufficient to opt out.

If you are in Morocco, your rights are those set out in Law 09-08, and you may address the CNDP.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and our providers hold the certifications standard for their industry. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise that it is; we do promise to tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.

Children

This website is aimed at adults booking travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16 except the names and ages of minors travelling with their family, provided by the adult making the booking. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will say so clearly on the site.
